Derek | Without any other options, Derek waited until he was alone before sending a text. Because even if his uncle was listening in, he wouldn't know what was happening. I need your help. Beacon Hills. Come ASAP. |
Jack | Well, Jack's week just got more interesting. He went up to his room and started packing a bag before answering. On my way. This wasn't literally true, but given how frequent portal service to Beacon Hills was, it might as well be. What's going on? |
Derek | Isn't it the most fun town ever? Found the Alpha. |
Jack | Anyone you know? Jack was so past being surprised by shit like this. |
Derek | My uncle. Wasn't that just a kicker? |
Jack | Jack looked at this, shook his head, and finished his preparations to go before he texted back. Will be there on portal in 2 hrs. Isn't your uncle in a coma? |
Derek | Was. Isn't anymore. Claims killing Laura was an accident. |
Jack | Of course it was. Anything else I should know? Jack was not so much inclined to believe in convenient "accidents." |
Derek | Argents are massing. Be careful. Awww, he was so protective in his terse replies. |
Jack | Got it. Where should I meet you? The protectiveness was actually fairly endearing. |
Derek | Shhh. No one must know he cares. The house. You know, the creepy old one. He wants me to silence Jackson. Like sleep with the fishes silence. |
Jack | We'll sort it out. Jack wasn't sure whether he meant by killing Jackson or (preferably) by finding some other way to pacify Derek's uncle, but he figured it was true either way. |
