"You don't need socks if you aren't going to be putting on shoes anytime soon," Emma pointed out, quickly sitting up and making herself comfortable by scooting up the bed and leaning back against the wall. "Besides, you're home, right? You can wander around barefoot if you like. It's not like it's the dorms."
