The Preserve, Friday Night
With Derek still occupied in Beacon Hills, Jack saw no reason not to play lone wolf (as it were) this full moon.
He went as deep into the preserve as he could manage, shedding his clothes and his human worries along the way. The panoply of new sights and scents meant that he barely noticed the pain of the transformation. By the time the golden moon was overhead, Jack was gone and the wolf was in his place.
Far from any path trodden by human feet, Jack threw his head back and howled.
[OOC: Open if you don't mind SP due to sleep!]

Once his stomach was full, he looked back at her and barked in what might have been an inquisitive matter. Why was she there? Didn't she have humans to bother?

"Yes, I'm still here," Allie said. "It's not like I have anywhere else to be. Everyone else is sleeping by this point."

He snuffled a sort of acknowledgment, then looked at Allie out of the corner of his eye. Could she run? Would she be fun to play with?

"What? You're done with dinner? Do you want to go somewhere else?"

He tossed his head and took off into the woods at a gallop. He dove under brush and leapt over a creek, paying absolutely no attention as to whether a human could fit through the route he'd chosen or not; that wasn't part of the game.

Did she see it? That deer over there, the one nibbling on the low bush? Didn't it look like a fantastic midnight snack?

Bam. The deer's blood tasted of its fear, and in that moment he loved being a predator.

Eventually, with his stomach full and his fur clotted with gore, he curled up and fell into a fitful sleep.

His eyes found Allie, barely visible against the early morning gloom. "You're still here?"
