Room 308, Friday Morning

Jack was up half the night Thursday scrubbing pink dye out of his hair. After the fifth go at it with shampoo and a quick self-administered trim to a few scraggly bits that had absorbed more than their fair share of the dye, it was all but back to normal, with just a few blush-tinted strands around his ears.

This was, in his eyes, an essential first step.

After a call to Tony and a nap, he woke up and started to pack. Rationally, he knew he was not the first person to have something odd and embarrassing happen to him -- a love spell, or whatever it had been. He wasn't even the first person to waste time chasing after a straight guy. (And bless Mitchell and Kate for trying to talk sense into him, for all the good it had done.) But he still needed the brief escape of a respite with Sebastien to get him centered in his own head.

He packed quickly and neatly, door cracked open as usual so he could watch the motion in the hallway.

"Well, the halo of curls sort of undermines the any attempt at looking hardcore," Emma admitted. "Although it's really more of an attitude than any particular look."

And really, Jack did not exude 'punk'.

"Because you were insane," Emma pointed out cheerfully. "Honestly, Jack, there are holes in his head. What were you thinking?"

Emma wrinkled her nose and shook her head. "I'll take your word for it and pass," she demurred. "Kissing my costar, even if the play is over now, is never a good idea."

Besides, Emma wasn't really looking to add another player on her dance card. It was full enough after last weekend, thanks.

"Maybe," she answered, nudging him back. "I suppose it depends on the play."

And what the odds were of clandestine make-out sessions in the lighting rig.

"Perhaps," she allowed, making a happy little noise in the back of her throat at the attention. Emma wasn't going to turn down kisses from Jack, especially if that meant he'd stop sulking. "I wouldn't want to do a play with a bunch of people I disliked."
icecoldfrost: (Emma is a bit of a tease...)

This required Emma's patented 'Stop Talking' Look, and she tangled her fingers into his shirt to tug him closer and kiss him a bit more insistently.

"What sort of plans do you have this weekend?" she gasped once they broke for air. She'd noticed the suitcase when she came in, but Emma was rather sure she could convince him not to go run and hide, especially when she had a few (better) ideas about staying in for the next few days.

Too late, Jack, Emma was an expert at pouting. She gave him her biggest, saddest pout before kissing him again.

"You'd best bring me back a trinket or some chocolates," she sulked, "if you're going to leave me here alone and undefended on a weekend."

A nicer disposition, from spending time with Tony and his vampire.

Emma was perfectly capable at playing nice with this particular situation, but considering what happened last time Jack and Tony were off-island together, she had (in her mind, at least) a right to be both wary and mildly disgruntled. Something was bound to go wrong.

"I'm going to hold you to that promise," she said instead, arching up against him and nipping lightly at his lower lip. "But you don't have to go right this moment, do you?"
